It's hard for me to understand, why Zend is not able to provide the Zend_Debugger extension for PHP 5.3. You can download the binaries for older PHP versions at http://downloads.zend.com/pdt/server-debugger/, but the ones provided there are only useable for PHP 5.2.x

But there is a way to get a debugger binary that works with PHP 5.3. Just download the latest Zend Server Community Edition (http://www.zend.com/de/products/server/downloads-all)  and take a look at the zend.7z file in the package.
If you open this package you can find the binary in the path: /zend/lib/debugger/php-5.3.x/ZendDebugger.so

Extract that file into your PHP modules directory and include it in your php.ini
Restart your webserver and voilà it works...

And if you do not want to download the whole Zend Server Package, just download the ZendDebugger_5.3.x.so from here.

Habe ich doch heute ein recht interessantes PHP-Framework entdeckt. Yii nennt sich das ganze und hat den Anspruch ein
"high-performance component-based PHP framework best for developing large-scale Web applications. Yii comes with a full stack of features, including MVC, DAO/ActiveRecord, I18N/L10N, caching, jQuery-based AJAX support, authentication and role-based access control, scaffolding, input validation, widgets, events, theming, Web services, and so on" Framework zu sein.

Hört sich auf jeden Fall interessant an...

If you like to compile php on CentOS 5 (64 Bit system), or maybe any other system too, and get this error, ensure that you

- installed all necessary devel files
- moved the original mysql libs in /usr/lib/mysql to /usr/lib/mysql_original (just for backup reasons)
- created a symlink ln -s /var/lib64/mysql /usr/lib/mysql

That fixed my problem with that error and even compilation of php got fine.

Dafür braucht es schon E_ALL|E_STRICT. Zumindest solange man eine PHP-Version < 6 benutzt...

Da mein zukünftiger Tätigkeitsbereich nicht mehr bei meinem jetzigen langjährigem Arbeitgeber SchuKo.Net liegen wird, sondern woanders und ich ja irgendwie ersetzt werden muss, auch wenn das natürlich sehr schwer wird!, also jemand Neues her...
